Thread: screen adhesive

Has anybody else had to replace the screen on there playbook unfortunately because I use mine all of the time and it goes in a cradle in my van I don't use a protective case so I've just broken my digitizer for the second time ,last time I used a double sided sticky tape but it effected the operation of the touch screen. So please has anybody else done a screen replacement please ?

I haven't done a repair myself, but I can tell you it won't be easy, or cheap.

If you have the right tools its not too bad as long as you're careful with the wifi antenna I've had my pb in bits quite a lot, I've ordered a screen for £36 its just a case of knowing which adhesive to secure the digitizer with

The type of tape doesn't matter, as long as it's the right dimensions and stickiness.
