BB SuperAbuser was one step ahead of me! Thanks!

    Stunnar,
When I first got my Playbook, I had a TOUGH time trying to figure out how to get movies onto my Playbook. I finally decided to do it the easy way and got a software program that converted my DVD's into the perfect format! There are many programs to choose from, some free and some paid. Good luck with it and please post back with what you find.
    BB then, now, forever!

Playbook reads mp4, wmv, mov, f4v, avi, 3gp/3g2, asf well, so please make sure you have all movies file in this extension. Or you need to convert them firstly.

I have converted a couple of movie for Playbook using a programme called AppGeeker video converter, It hs a reasonable range of conversion options.

Assuming got some of vob files and want to work on Playbook, just see at: how to convert vob to mp4 format

I have converted all my movies to mp4 format using Video Converter Assist, and now I can play them on my Playbook without any issue.
