I would reboot. Turn it off and back on again. Sounds like it just got stuck.
It says can't display ( shomthing like that) the BB ID Legal agreement, some say I must use another wifi to set it up, is it normal for it to only show up three countries and not show other countries like south africa?

Which countries does it show?
Are you properly connected to your WiFi?
It showed cananda, and united states, but I choose united states and it continued now it wants to update the OS v1..... Would I be able to connect it to a pc and update it via a desktop manager using a modem?
Thanks guys the playbook is now in a playing state and so far it's great and have been in my hands not in the table for sometime now I'm enjoying the typing also too much but would love to know how to stop the sound that comes out when I'm typing.
What was the solution to the problem?
Go to settings (little cog at top right hand of screen) then look down past wi fi etc until you reach keyboard ,there is a slider that says feedback! i think there might be a button to turn it off also! Enjoy your playbook the more time i spend on mine the more amazed i am how good they are and cant wait for next year and the release of the new OS blackberry 10!Quote:

What I did is I changed the wi-fi, but I used my smartphone (9900) as a Mobile hotspot, I inserted my modem's sim card on my phone and everything went well, even the update of the software, But now my worry is that the App world don't open over the bridge, with wqi-fi it opens, should it be it be like this?
