Thread: UK movie fans

Hi all I bought my PlayBook at launch and love it! The only thing that has bothered me all along is the lack of silverlight which means I can't watch netflix or skygo so when I wanted to watch any thing my wife's other fruit named tablet had to be used with its inferior audio system. Well the other day on this forum tacked onto the end of an unrelated thread somebody mentioned Blinkbox I'd never heard of this site it isn't as cheap as netflix but it works on the playbook so now I get to stream movies and tv shows on my superior tablet at last.
Anyway I just wanted to share this in case there are any other UK users who have been frustrated like me

Is Blinkbox only available in the UK?

It's a UK site owned by the supermarket chain Tesco so I assume it's only UK I'm afraid

can't hide my disappointment. Blink box does not compare... well certainly not on price, i.e £1.89 per episode of Homeland. Thankfully I've already watched it. I'll just have to struggle on with the unenviable task of sifting through links on Tubeplus or ProjectTV for now.

I'm sorry Graham I should have updated this thread , I received an email from blinkbox informing customers that the free service was being cancelled but they would launch something different in 2013 (yeah right I'll believe that when I see it. At the end of the day if younwere desperate for movies on your pb you can still buy them for a price I downloaded a whole season of Sons of Anarchy for the same price as itunes.
I'm hoping that when we get BB10 it'll open up a whole new world
