Does a playbook also freeze, germ, stop working because of the memory got drained, is it like the blackberry phones? Hope it doesn't freeze or need battery pulls (if it has one that can be taken out)...????

Hi Stunnar, the PlayBook does not suffer from the problem of memory leak or freezing. In fact, every since I've had my PlayBook I have been very impressed with the fact that it never freezes! And no, the PlayBook does not have a removable battery, so you will never have to pull the battery.
However, with any tablet, whether Android, iOS, ect, it is good to reboot the device from time to time. Especially after installing a bunch of apps.

So u saying the playbook is much better than the Android?
Hi, yes, I use first galaxy tab/ xoom/ Asus tablet it died after two months, all freeze/stop at times, and now Android
has abandoned flash player, it still vital for a good web experiance but playbook has latest flash player, and video playback is brilliant,
and it loads full web site, plus you get updates to improve playbook, Android updates maybe if maker feels like it,
Nice, tell me when using the bridge feature, how far do you go on the internet? Do you download also or only surf the net? Can u run an OS update via the bridge?
Hi,I do not have a blackberry phone yet, I am waiting for BB10 to arrive, so I can not use the bridge feature yet,
I use wi-fi hotspot on my windows phone Nokia 800 to connect playbook, all playbook updates have been through this way,
I surf the net, and watch the BBC I Player radio/ Tv, ( flash player needed ) and down load tech manuals, you tube, and E mails.
It comes with flash player 11.2? Does streaming of youtube videos work fine? And is it the real TV or something else called tv also? I'm buying the playbook so I want to know more before it arrives...
playbook is on flash player 11.1.121.66 it is updated by blackberry, you tube videos work very well as playbook has a quality screen,
BBC I Player is watch again on demand and UK has four networks with catch up Tv, as I write this on my HP Touchpad, just tried live tv, BBC 1 on playbook,
works very well, never tried live tv on playbook before, but network bandwidth needed, I get 3.5/7 Mbps on mobile network, HD streaming is not good yet we need 4G, I live out of town so not fastest speeds.hope this helps, we need Skype, Touchpad has Skype embedded and video.
Skype will help make the web fast or the streaming?
no, only your network download speed, the faster the better the video stream, I use Skype to keep in contact with friends in Holland, and it would be nice to use playbook,
so I have to use Touchpad with its video feature, playbook browser is fast anyway, and I prefer it.
What is your view on the video chat on the PB?
It works with another playbook, lent one of my playbooks to my Granddaughter to try it at her house, her opinion was its too limited if you need friends with playbook, , she uses Skype. On laptop,
So Skype. Would be useful.
Skype charges how much on data bundle to use it?
Video streaming can use about 200/230 mb for 30 minutes, HD video More, I listen to Internet radio a lot, 1GB lasts 30 hours, at 48/ 56kbps, it depends on streaming speed ,
Skype will be similar. I have cheap mobile data rates, but some networks are. Expensive, I use sim free phones and use with-fi hotspot, on mobile sim cards to my tablet/laptop,
Cheaper than mobile broadband system. No network soft ware to shut down hotspot.
There is no Skype app available on the Playbook.
That's Why BlackBerry needs a Skype application, as video chat only works with another playbook, if HP could put it on Touchpad, and my pre3 phone does video Skype so could BlackBerry, we can hope,
Yah let's hope so
