Hi All
Now that we have 2.1 installed, is there an official way now to side load android apps or access the android market place? I've never done it before on my 2.0 OS.
Please advise
Thank you
Brian

That's a good question. I haven't explored the side-loading thing, either. Will it just show the android apps that are available to us now?
There's 3 ways of sideloading onto a playbook:
1. BBH-tool
2.DDPB
3. Is if you have a blackberry smartphone you can use it as a proxy to install apps on the playbook almost natively using localbar2
Hope this helps theses tutorials on this forum as well![]()

As RIM said, sideloading will stay.. So if you were able to try the sideloding process, its just the same on OS 2.1..
In regards with the Android Market, I am not sure of though.. Maybe the others would be able to tell us..

There is no official way. Technically sideloading is only meant for developers. If you want to sideload apps you may follow our guide here:
