Thread: Playbook 2.0 backup fails.

    Playbook 2.0 backup fails.

    I have tried three times now to do a full backup of my Playbook. Each time it gets part way through then fails with an error. I have tried to backup to my laptop HDD and to an external HDD. Fails with each. It leads me to believe that something on the PB is causing the failure. Is there a PB equivalent of chkdsk /f ? What else could be causing this?

    Yes Joe. I have it. Just trying backing up the separate components. System and Media backed up OK. Just in the process of backing up App Data. We'll see how that goes.

    If that way does work then I guess if I wanted to restore a full backup it would work to restore those individual components one at a time?

    Yea, try backing up your app data separately from the others. Let me know how that goes.

    I have the same problem: error 400 when I try to backup only application data! The software on PC is update, and I tried on netbook with winxp and desktop with windows vista.The official service BB said it is investigating the problem, but at the moment it has no solution.
