How do I make Dolphin the default browser? thanks

You cannot change the default browser on the PlayBook at this time.

What features do you like about the dolphin browser. While there are some cool features to use on dolphin browser, the native browser works really well, it is currently the top scoring browser out of any mobile browser out there in existence by the measure of it's html5 score (which is a measure of browser performance/how well it can handle webpages). A tip to note is that if you disable flash, a lot of webpages will render a lot quicker and most webpages will be a non-flash version of the site available and if you ever need to use the flash version of the site, you can simply turn it back on =).

I have two issues with the default browser and they may have to do with my ignorance. First, I can't seem to organize my bookmarks. Second, it must not save cookies because when I log in to various websites like this one, it doesn't remember me.
If someone has a remedy for these I'd love the help.

Unfortunately this feature is not available, but I think it is worth it as the broswer performance is much better on the Native Browser than the other browsers. In alternative, you can save each bookmark and add it to home screen and put all these book marks in 1 folder and rearrange them in the order you like. Its a bit tedious going in and out of the folder but its workable if you are not a heavy user.

Next time before you log in, dont forget to click the remember me button! I think that may solve your issues. Let us know if it doesnt work still!

I'm responding on an HP netbook which gets absolutely "smoked" by my Playbook in terms of speed and multitasking. Re: my post, I always use the "remember me" button to no avail. I don't log out, I'm the only user of the Playbook. I can organize my bookmarks on my Tour using Opera Mini, unfortunately I don't see it in App World. I don't know how to write software (apps) only use it, I was hoping that I had just missed something. Thanks for the feedback.
New ideas always welcome.

That's really weird, I'll see if i can find someone to look into this. Did you know about our BlackBerryOS app for PlayBook though?

Not sure I've got a bunch (Crackberry,N4BB, etc ) all in one folder. I'll check thanks.

I use remember me all the time on pb and have came across pw issues (to which i have to open pw keeper on the bb)..

I like the gesture on dolphin and the bookmarks on the side

Default just seems like the ff display or whomever came up with thumb display.. Its just a shame they cant be moved about

I did download the app, now I have to wake up enough to use it.

I click 'remember me' with all my forums but none do. I have to enter login details every time.

Sorry Joe, I was confused. It's my Bold that doesn't remember. The PB is OK.

Pity the pdf reader default can't be changed either. Changing default programmes and videos not going back to where they were left off are my two worst niggles with the PB.
