PlayBook Update Issue Confirmed By RIM
With the newly released PlayBook Update 2.0.1.358 many bugs were fixed which brought a huge sigh of relief to us that love our PlayBooks. However, some users have reported that their auto-text function when enabled under the BlackBerry Bridge didn't work. Research In Motion has confirmed that this problem does exist within the new PlayBook update and will be addressed in a soon to be released BlackBerry Bridge update.
We will keep updated to when the Bridge update comes out to repair the bug.
Reboot your playbook once and also clear the cache.

I had similar problem once, but once I cleared cache and rebooted my device, i did not face it again.

It may just be a RIM related problem on their end. Have you seen if anyone else in your area is having the same issue?
