Thread: Power Button issue?

Im trying to figure this out i dont know if its just me or is anyone else having this problem. When I press down on the button to power up my playbook when its off sometimes I get it power up just fine with out any problems and then there times it just doesnt turn on. Not sure if im just not hitting the button correct the playbook is new i got it thursday from a friend in Canada brand spanking new so... Why is it so hard to turn this dang thing on? Or is it possiable that my playbook just being stupid? Or is there a trick to make sure i press the button to turn it on correctly? Thanks guys on any tips...

Just for the sake of argument, I have turned off my BlackBerry PlayBook.

I observe while I turn it on (pressing the power button for a quick 1 sec), the red light comes on for 2-3 seconds, and it's fine.

Sometimes you may press the power button, and nothing happens, I'm sure it has happened to me, but after the second try, no problems.
