My first major pronblem with Playbook...

I tried to install Evernote from AppWorld onto my Playbook but got the [0003-0005] install error. I followed the date change routine set out in the knowledgebase article KB30074-Install Error: [0003 - 0005] is displayed in BlackBerry App World™ for BlackBerry® PlayBook™ when attempting to download applications. After resetting the date and going to the Blackberry ID page on the Playbook I get an error that there is no wifi connection even though there is and the Playbook browser and other apps connect OK. Trying to download anything from AppWorld I get an error 'Your Blackberry ID could not be validated. Please try again'. I am at a loss what to do now. Any ideas?

I would try the fix process once more to see if it works. Make sure you follow each step exactly.

All OK now Joe. I had tried the KB operation over again to no avail so I decided on the nuclear option. I backed up all data through the Desktop Software then did a security wipe and reinstalled the data.. That got the BB ID and AppWorld working again but annoyingly the [0003-0005] error was still there when I tried to install any app. I went through the KB fix once again being very careful to do exactly as instructed. Once completed the BB ID problem was back! I had read a suggestion elsewhere to delete and remake my WiFi connection which I did. That cured the BB ID problem. When I tried to install an app again it did so without any error. Success!

That's great to hear my friend that you have successfully installed the application on your PlayBook.

It's amazing that something like your wireless connection it seems is over-looked by several users.

I've always said to everyone, if your wireless (WiFi) connection has been configured correctly, you will have no issues installing anything via your home based wireless network.

Check for accurate SSID, correct date & time, encryption, and other options not set up correctly when you either first purchased the wireless router, or if it was powered down due to a black out or accidental trip, which will sometimes erase the info after a certain time has passed.
