Thread: Browser not remembering passwords...

I'm becoming a little frustrated with the PB browser. I always check the 'remember me' box but the username password is not remembered for the forums I frequent and in other sites too. Perhaps I have something set wrong? Do others find the same problem?

With regards to the saving passwords feature in BlackBerry PlayBook native browser, there is no mention of it anywhere in my BlackBerry Support Tablet User Guide 2.0, which has a ton of information.

If I may suggest, check out Vault - Password Manager for BlackBerry PlayBook

What I can do is suggest changing your browser options;

When private browsing is turned on, the browser only temporarily stores your history, cached files, cookies, and other information.
This information is deleted when you close the browser.
Tap Privacy & Security. Set the Private Browsing switch to On.

Every PlayBook owner should have the User Guide downloaded, it would save some users some serious frustration.

Yep, thanks once again. It was the private browsing that was the culprit. With it switched off the browser remembers log on details between sessions.
