When RIM decided to go all out with tweaking PlayBook OS 2.0, they seem to have called for the help of SwiftKey, one of the most popular third-party Android keyboard developers, to tweak their keyboard.
How do we find out about this? Well, SwiftKey has openly discussed several Easter Eggs bundled in its autocorrect system: If you type in “Ben”, you'll see the first suggestion is “Medlock,” the SwiftKey’s CTO. It is to be noted that the keyboard adapts to your writing styles over time. If your name is also Ben, and you constantly enter your last name, it will replace “Medlock” at some point with your last name.
Let's hope to see the split-screen thumb SwiftKey keyboard in a future OS 2.0 update!
