Thread: .7111 browser comparative benchmarking

There's this long awaited Chrome for Android came out, and the hoopla around Internet is raging for 48 hours now. Basing on some Anandtech templates, I did my own benchmarking for Playbook's .7111 browser, have a look here in my blog fineoils.blogspot.com (I probably have no permission to post links, so sorry for that).

Have some laughs, and let's hope OS 2.0 Final will beat every other browser to a pulp!

What exactly was wrong? Any data? My sources are Anandtech for other browsers, and my own BB Playbook OS 2.0.0.7111, pushed through Sunspider and HTML5test.com tests

The stock browser for the PlayBook is great. Nice benchmarks.

Now we can see the benchmark. Maybe after Chrome gets out of beta it will get even better. I really enjoy Chrome on my laptop.

Me too, but that was not the point. Like I said all the hoopla around Chrome for Android -- including Anandtech that I respect -- conveniently forget about a real champion: nameless OS 2.0.0.7111 browser of BB Playbook.
344 points in HTML5test is second only to Chrome desktop, as I posted in my other article in my blog.
So, lol, you can continue to like Chrome, just wait when Playbook developers will upgrade their JS V8 engine.
