I'm basically a book worm and have been for the better half of my life. I was actually given an iPad around the beginning of this year by my parents to allow me the opportunity to continue my love affair of eBooks as well as the ability to use the Internet, among other things. I had previously been the proud owner of Kindle which met all my basic needs: long battery life and allowed me to download .pdf and other files onto it for reading at my own leisure. Eventually I got fed up with the lack of decent browser and having to convert many of my ebook files because of their incompatibility with the Kindle. That's where the iPad came in. If it lasted longer, didn't weigh as much, and didn't have lots of bugs I may still be inclined to keep it. However, that isn't so much the case, which brings me to getting my very own PlayBook. Now my questions (which I hope are obvious at this point):
- How is the PlayBook as an eBook Reader?
- What are tolerable apps to view such eBooks that I don't have to *buy* the eBooks directly from that company/website and can simply upload my own to read?
- What type of files are compatible with the PlayBook?
Yes I could Google all this, and believe me I have tried, but something about Google search and myself just don't mix well and I end up on some other random site that has nothing to do with what I had originally searched for, leaving me with no answers and hours gone. If you have any information regarding the information above, please comment away! You'll be helping myself and many more to follow.
