Thread: Playbook charger and connections

Hi...I was wondering if I can use my torch charger for the playbook (and vice versa) ? Also I have a seagate external HD - can I connect that directly to my playbook? Thanks

Yes you can, as long as it's a micro USB charger.

Don't think you can connect Hard Drives right directly to the PlayBook.

You can use you Torch charger to charge the PlayBook, but keep in mind it will take a very long time to charge. The charger for the Torch is 5V with 700mA. ,and a PlayBook charger is releasing 1.8A. So that's Milliamps to Amps, so using the native 1.8A charger for the PlayBook with charge it way faster.

No it should work fine. I use it to charge mine sometimes.
