We've been told certain users have started to be prompted to upgrade their PlayBook's OS. This has been the update we've been waiting for for the past few days after a leaked screenshot of the update was found online. If you don't have the notification of the update yet, keep trying. This update is slowly making it's way out to everyone so patience is key.
Nice, well overdue. Probably won't see the Android Player till OS v2.
So far the findings are:
Airplane Mode
Adobe Air patch
Adobe Flash update
Region Selector in language selector
Nothing major.
Updated the Bridge and Playbook O/S and now the PlayBook shows new mail has arrived and alerts for appointments but neither the in-box nor calendar open. Did battery pulls and PB restart and no love form the in-box on the tablet in the new version. The problem is reported by multiple users in different areas per another BlackBerry user forum. Any ideas?
Pictures are viewable now in portrait mode as well as landscape...
