RIM announced today plans to launch the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet in an additional 16 markets around the world over the next 30 days. This comes as a great announcement just after I posted my BBOS PlayBook Review. Hooray world!!!

The BlackBerry PlayBook is scheduled to launch in:

• UK
• Netherlands
• Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
• Hong Kong
• Australia
• Venezuela
• Spain
• Germany
• UAE
• Singapore
• Mexico
• France
• Italy
• India
• Indonesia
• Colombia

Good news is, I suppose other Kiwis will be able to get the PlayBook fairly easily when it reaches Australia. ;)

Why isn't the Cookie Monster excited yet?

yes but at a price i bought mine for $850us now selling in australia for $766us and on ebay $539.99us
