RIM pushes for Hulu access on the Blackberry PlayBook

RIM is working with Hulu to bring Hulu Plus to the BlackBerry PlayBook after Hulu blocked BlackBerry PlayBook users from accessing Hulu.com on Thursday, just days after the tablet launched in stores. PC Mag and The Wall Street Journal are reporting the same email statement from RIM on a resolution:

Rather bland and predictable statement, right? Hulu traditionally blocks non-desktop access on tablets, mobile phones, and set-top boxes in order to encourage users to subscribe to its new Hulu Plus service for $7.99/month. Perhaps we'll see a quick resolution to this conflict. We'll keep you updated on any changes.

So, they released the playbook, had hulu on it without discussing it with them, it got blocked, and now they are in discussions?
