Blog and u tube video on blackberrys upcoming playbook which now the app store wars is becoming more clear blackberry, amazon , and android marketplace vs apple and in my opinion the apple will fall meaning no more apple being number 1 I been waiting for this day for a very long time so blackberry fans have a lot to chear about if what I'm seeing is true
CrackBerry.com is wrong. Apple will always lead in Apps. As much as I love BlackBerry, I have to say that Android + BlackBerry will never beat Apple in apps. The reason being is that Android's open source software creates too many problems for the run of the mill developer to have to make their app compatible for so many different devices. BlackBerry has the same issue. Although they may run the same OS they still have enough differences with hardware and functionality that it makes it a pain for devs. Apple on the other hand is easy to develop for - as there is only one iPhone, one iPad, and one Mac that run apps very well, making integration very simple.Quote:

Thats just absurd to think that Apple will fall so quickly; and if at all. Again its a classic case of the Blackberry device being treated as a consumer entertainment phone. I have both a Droid and a Blackberry.When I want to play I used my Droid, but when I want to get some work done I use my Blackberry. Another thing to take note of is the process a developer has to go through to submit apps is a little more granular that that of Apples. JMHO
Don't get me started on App World's app submission and update guidelines. What a joke!
