Thread: PlayBook BlackBerryOS Launcher

When I heard the PlayBook simulator and SDK got released, I got the happy feeling inside - much like football fans do when they receive their Superbowl tickets! So, I downloaded and began working past the beta bugs (very few actually). I initially started to convert the applications that I already have developed for the BlackBerry but I got influenced to produce the BBOS Launcher. The BBOS Launcher loads the entire website and not the mobile site which many people will appreciate merely because of the fact that it's packed full of more features than the mobile site. The BBOS Launcher also has a back, home and forward button mainly for convenience. If you've got any suggestions, please, feel free to leave them; I'm open for anything that anybody suggests!

Ignore the BBOSMain and GoofyTimer/Goofy Timer, those are other applications I was working on that I'll have released before the PlayBook itself gets released. Here is an up close and personal screenshot of the application running in full screen.

Really nice job shimmy. Any word as to when you'll be ready with the goofy timer?

Goofy Timer is 100% done now. I just finished it yesterday!

Hey guys, just an update for you.

I've added a "New Posts" button in the top right. Also adding a "Favorites" per-say to where you can save your favorite bbos pages so you can quick access them, I'll find it handy at least..

I just really want to be the Kitty right now... This BBOS launcher is cool and all for the PB but seriously the kitty is getting all the love where is mine?
