BlackBerry Tablet (Playbook) gets announced at DevCon!

Well it looks like the rumors were true, the folks at RIM are creating a tablet titled the Playbook! Lets just jump into the specs because they look amazing:

RIM intends to also offer 3G and 4G models in the future.

I have heard some rumors that it is 3G capable and I have also heard WiFi only. Not sure which to believe because it does support "pairing" with your BB. Still not sure what that means and I hope that gets cleared up soon.

Availability
The BlackBerry PlayBook is expected to be available in retail outlets and other channels in the United States in early 2011 with rollouts in other international markets beginning in (calendar) Q2.

RIM will begin working with developers and select corporate customers next month to begin development and early testing efforts.

I was thinking the same thing. If they release a 4.3-5" version i probably wouldn't mind carrying it along paired with the BB.
