Thread: New BlackBerry Tablet Specs Come to the Surface

Whether you call it the BlackPad or the BerryTab, there has never been enough evidence to suggest that it really exists, however it looks like the rumors are becoming more and more true. This is happen very slowly and here is our next bit of evidence.

BBLeaks just released a list of specs for the new tablet.
Rodman & Renshaw analyst, Ashok Kumar, gave a new report on Friday revealing new specs for the tablet.

• Marvell 1GHz Armada 610 processor
• 16MP Back and Front Facing Cameras
• HD 1080p playback
• Enhanced 3D Graphics
• 7-inch Touchscreen

If some of or all of these rumored specs are even close to true, I truly believe that the iPad will have an amazing opponent. Seeing these specs release makes me smile. In the back of my head I was always worried the RIM may put out an inferior product to the iPad. With these specs I am more inclined to purchase this device, are you?

im in... im hoping tho... that i wont need another data plan... i would love to have it piggyback off of my 9700 internet access

I would love to see one working fully when it's finished.
Seeing what RIM does in a phone Id love to have one.
But first lets see how it works.
But Ill just put it on my wishlist
