Thread: Discuss: BlackBerry PlayBook Version 2.0.1.358

RIM has started to push out OS 2.0.1.358 for the BlackBerry PlayBook. Users should start seeing the update as an OTA soon on their PlayBook. This is actually a nice update that includes, Browser enhancements for certain websites, and improved support for Android apps. This is an update that I think we will all be happy with. Make sure you let us know your findings and fixes.

According to the Inside BlackBerry Blog BlackBerry PlayBook OS v2.0.1.358 contains the following updates:

• Browser enhancements to address performance with some websites
• Improvements to support Android apps
• Optimizations to Video Chat, PIM and BlackBerry Bridge applications
• And much more!

Just downloaded and installed...... Waiting for PB to boot at the moment. It appears this still takes a while but this is something that we are all used to with our BB devices. I bet that does not change any time soon... but who cares Just seen an app called Zino pop up that i dont remember downloading. So that could be included in the bundle or me just being a numpty and not remembering. Browser looks the same no change there, havent really tried it much so cant really comment on that just yet. Oh aqnd one more thing! GET DRAW SOME ON PLAYBOOK!!

I can also confirm from my screen shot, that side loading has not been disabled

I'm updating now. Had to charge my dead PB. Glad to see this update and the added Android support. I'm going to try a netflix bar and let you all know if it works.

Netflix is a no go still. Get these errors when sideloading Netflix...

REPLY to thread about battery drain using Hotmail?? Deleted it from resident email and battery life back to normal, charge last for upto three days with wifi on. Thanks for info
