Thread: PlayBook OS 2.0 Set To Launch On Feb 17th?

Our friend Ronen from BerryReview has just received information from sources that RIM has set a launch date for February 17th to release PlayBook OS 2.0 to the masses. There have been numerous rumors flying around as to what the actual ETA will be, but if this rings true, we will be updating out PlayBook's shortly after Valentine's Day!

This is so awesome that the BlackBerry PlayBook OS2.0 Official is going to be released next month!!

Let me calculate .....today is Jan. 21, 2012, and let's assume that Feb. 17, 2012 is the release date, (and also remind yourself that this February has 29 days).

So, I have to wait only 27 more days, and it's total bliss for BlackBerry PlayBook owners!!

Are you suggesting the extra day that will occur after the release date will make it take longer?

I have no control over how many days are in any month, in the case, February has 29 days for 2012, it wouldn't make any difference if it was 28 days either.

All that matters is the release date of BlackBerry PlayBook's OS2.0 I'm so excited!

Fair enough, looking forward to release myself, beta version just doesn't have all that we can look forward to. Will work very nicely with 7.1 on bold 9900.
