Doesnt look like much BB Flip love is out there

I came here to get some info on this phone hoping to get some more fun out of it. I have had it since June and its kinda just sat in the glove box as a sort of emergency phone. I used it once when my storm battery went dead and then again when I went to a pool party and then again today when I thought I screwed up my storm... I guess this is why its been just laying around so much... Just not as popular as the old 8130 I guess. I'm feeling as if I should have passed this one up and just kept my 8130 w/otterbox as the emergency relief.

I'm gonna play with 5.0 for a few days and then probably go right back to the storm!

I couldn't even find any neat themes. I also think the 8130 camera looked better. Weak sauce!!!

If anyone knows of any super cool save my pearl flip from suicide stuff out there let me know otherwise its back to the glove box with this. Its funny though I was almost upset and relieved when I found it had the same crappy battery upset cus it doesnt last relieved cus I have 6 of them and a stand alone charger.

other thatn those dill holes making but calls, most of the rest go with the full qwerty. i think the surepress, and the fact that the original pearl had some real SW isuues, most people went elsewhere.

I think its a good phone, but I use the key lock (an app actually) like it was designed.

Yeh, the storm is my primary phone. I got the pearl as a backup device and use *228 opt 3 to activate it when needed. As far as the keyboard most people who love the 71xx 81xx and 82xx phones would agree that you cant beat the pearl style keyboard. Which is why I can type faster on the storm using the suretype than the guy in the promotional video for that physical keyboard that slides over the I-Phone.

Unfortunately this phone is just absolutely BORING!!! I can't believe I lived with the pearl for so long.

I also use the screen lock and that coupled with the fact the the storm is just less likely to cause butt dialing than other blackberries means even if you forget it probably wont happen. The pearl was guaranteed to butt dial recent calls, random numbers that dont exist or people at the top or bottom of your contact lists.

I actually have a best friend because I butt dialed her about 2 months after getting her number at a bar and then we just ended up being really good friends after that weird story I know...

Anyways I'm just blabbering I wish there was some cool crap out there for this phone but looks like I'm out of luck!
