Bell Launching Pearl 9100 May 13 & Pink 9100 Coming Soon to Telus
Just yesterday we saw OS 5.0.0.676 for the 9100 / 9105 leak, and a few other versions before that. Pretty exciting knowing that the launch date for the new Pearl 3G is looming ever so closely. We have solid evidence that carrier Bell will launch the new BlackBerry Pearl 9100 a week from today on May 13th. As you can see from the screen shot, the Pearl 9100 will be going for $129.95 on a new 3 year contract with Bell, or $329.95 outright. It seems Telus and Bell are the only two carriers at the moment to be the holders of this device.
No word yet from Telus as to when they will launch the Pearl 9100, but most likely will be close to the same date as Bell. Also starting today, Telus will donate $25 to help breast cancer research and awareness from every pink Curve 8530 or soon to be launched Pearl 9100 sold this year. If you want a pink Pearl 9100, Telus will be the only carrier offering this color choice. The 9100 has gotten great public feedback and a lot of people are eagerly waiting to get their hands on the new Pearl 9100!
