If you don't have a warranty, your best bet is to Google local cell phone technicians to help you fix the issue. Make sure you get a quote on price before they work on it. It also doesn't hurt to get a second quote from another technician.

Take a look into the packaging, there's a black card with a service hotline on it. If you can find it, go to your local BB website and look under 9981 support and services. Easiest way though is to take it directly to the PD store, they'll exchange it for free within 48hrs, regardless of where you bought it and where ever you are now.
