Thread: Bell releases 4.7.0.122 for their 9530

No brick for me. Haven't really seen any huge difference from 113, except that the Camera Focuses a lot faster than any other release. I haven't heard of any bricking phones. Have heard of some people having a random reboot shortly after installing.

Bell users have it automatically done thru DM update on their phones. On Bell's site it still says .76 it is not available for download. It is done thu BB's servers OTA to clients. Thats why BES cleints got it first since they did OTA uppgrade. I will be posting findings after i finish my second install since the first one was no success. Because i still had 114 but with platform 153

it isn't like you would be without a phone. Don't you have like 5 or so...lol

Very nice. One comment though, I don't think it's necessary to downgrade to .76. One could install from any OS that is already on their phone.

Ok seriously... Ive had my storm now for about two months. Keep in mind this is my first Blackberry. I havent done any "leaked" OS updates and am still running the very slow and unstable OS this piece of crap came with. I am a systems integrator by trade and have more than enough tech experience to do said updates but have chosen not to because apparently i have been lulled into a FALSE sense of confidence in verizon to rectify this situation. Guess i was wrong. They truly are shooting themselves in the foot.

Welcome to BBOS EvanG, I agree. People have pretty much given up on the idea that Verizon is going to give them a better OS any time soon. Hybrids are the users way of trying to get the best out of there phones.

Im starting to think i should jump on the "Giving UP" band wagon. Looks like i need to do a bit of research and do the D*MN thing myself.
