This is rather interesting. It would also be interesting to see how many people actually 'downgrade' back to it. I know I wont be.

The only problem about this is it will stop the "when an official OS be released?". We'll still be getting ansy for a beta leak.

IMO, if 113 IS made official, I really can't see many people loading it unless the core ie: app memory is opened up to be accessible.

What I am interested to see is, how there going to address the mms problem with .113. Whether there going to try to push a "hotfix" out OTA with the OS, or are they going to do it at the stores. My bet is this OS is going to be a "Store Only" upgrade, so the CS Tech idiots can redo the mms cod file. I would be very interested to see what there release will look like through Crackutil file viewer. My bet is that if there releasing this, they have edited something to make MMS work.

thats my guess to...if they gonna release it as .113, i believe there will be a few fixes to it that were found in the beta...but if .113 does release as official and its the same issues as in the leak. i might have to say f*** verizon and the storm and go to at&t and get a bold. friend has it and i love it...there holding this phone back. yse its new but it was released almost 4 months ago. the way technology is advancing, it aint brand new anymore. only reason im still with verizon to day is the fact i dont wanna pay 100 bucks to cancel contract. also is cause the Niagara is said to release to verizon as the similar to the bold but cdma. verizons CS is some of the worst i have seen for anything. everytime i go to change something on my plan or something, they somehow mess it up....s*** last time i went in to change my plan, i got a bill in the mail 3 weeks later for a number i didnt even have plus my acutually numbers bill and my real numbers plan wasnt changed. called CS after an hour i found on=ut the dumbass at the store some reason added a number to my account....any who sorry to get off subject. just upset at verizon after getting off the phone for 2 hours with them. then reading this

I for one will not be downgrading back to .113. I am a little disappointed in Verizon for jumping on this OS as an Official Release. Though to be honest, I dont care, I will keep modding as long as they keep handing out OS's albeit Beta or Official.
As many of us have seen there are quite a few bugs left in the OS. I would hope that RIM has completed the changes to the OS from the one that was leaked to us all earlier. I have read the changelog and they have addressed quite a few, but did they get them all. I will be waiting to hear feedback when this goes live.

IF history repeats itself the leaked version that was released a week ago will be exactly the same as the official one. This has also been confirmed by an engineer at RIM who has seen what the official release is going to be. Sorry guys but we already have it the official will be the same version without an mods to it.

    MMS Fix

If you really want to fix MMS here is the solution, which has been confirmed by many others. Here are the instructions:

    1. remove all OS's from your PC
    2. With 113 installed on your phone wipe handheld
    3. Downgrade to 75
    4. Do not wipe handheld
    5 Upgrade to 113

This somehow flashes the ROM and allows MMS to operate just as it did on 75.

I have tried it and it works perfectly. Give it a shot and see how it works for you. Beware though I did brick my phone so if you are a novice I do not recommend trying this unless you know what you are doing.
