So, I can assume that Verizon is not yet on 2.8?

In case no one has responded, it's under the help section now.

    Turn on wireless data synchronization

Note: Depending on your messaging service plan, this feature might not be supported.
By default, wireless data synchronization is turned on for organizer data, such as contacts, on your BlackBerry® device. If wireless data synchronization is turned off on your device, you must turn on wireless data synchonization before you try to synchronize your Google Mail™ contacts.

For more information about synchronization, click the Help icon on the Home screen of your device.

On the Home screen of your device, click the Contacts icon.
    Press the Menu key.
    Click Options.
Click your Google Mail email address.
Change the Wireless Synchronization field to Yes.
    Press the Menu key.
    Click Save.
    Parent topic: Synchronizing contacts
My phone has never shown anything in that section except General Options and Default under Contact Lists. Anyone know how to get it to show my Gmail address?

Not sure if you were responding to my last post but I already have wireless reconcile turned on under messages. There's a separate section under contacts. I'd like to know how to activate that. I've always wondered why it's greyed out. A search on RIMs help site was less than useful. It directs users to delete a service book that's not present on my Storm.
