Thread: Storm 2 Coming to Verizon October 14th??

the october 14th date that keeps getting tossed around looks like it is going to be for the Curve II. All my sources are pointing to a mid to end of November launch for the Storm 2.

That's some tough news for the storm users. I think a lot of people were/are looking forward towards the storm release on that magical date of Oct. 14th.

I am still sticking to what I said about the user guides that were just printed... sorry boys... we are waiting.

I concur jnepsa... I have not seen one bit of evidence down here in FLA that the S2 will launch in Oct. I have seen overwhelming evidence that the Curve 2 will however launch.

other than the agenda letter, which is a plan but that doesnt seem realistic as there have been no other updates that i have heard about at least... the agenda letter was real, no doubt, we shall see I wish but

yep and that agenda letter never made it to the Florida region, we have other challenges going on down here... :haha:

lol our last week was not good, had new towers come on in eastern ohio...and they got programed with the wrong prls...lol anyhow back on topic... cant wait for S2

true the S2 looks great (so far what I have seen from the forums)... Tried to get my BB rep to get me a sneak peek but no-go, although I was able to 'glance' at the new curve...

what happened to the pictures? Boo!

One tech dude I chatted with this weekend had no clue about "a storm 2" when I asked if there was any buzz on when it was coming out. Come to think of it, he seemed a bit shocked by the question as if he had no idea what the storm was!

The 14th would be so sweet! As long as it comes out by the time I can get an early update option, I'll be good to go!

pics were removed at the request of the source, and keep in mind that most people that work at vzw do NOT frequent the forums looking for new devices... do you expect someone that sells washing machines to know about devices that they have not been trained on? vzw techs and reps are also under NDA, so if they are devices that are pre release they are unable to give you any info specially over the phone. Just a friendly reminder that not everyone is as big as a geek/nerd as we are :laugh2:
