It's not just a fast browser. Flash capabilities are going to be the forefront conversational piece with this addition to the tool bin.

about time, finally RIM seems to understand that nowadays people uses a blackberry for things more than just phone calls or checking appointments.

This is very true. I actually don't use my BB as a phone all that much. It's more of a "Personal Connection Device" than a phone. BBMs, email, text & web browsing are the more of a focus for me.

We live in an age where people tend to want to text or email another person rather than call them.

The browser is probably one of the features I dislike the most about BlackBerry. It's better than most dumb phones, but no where near anything to write home about.

A better browser with flash and flick scrolling will complete my blackberry. The two things that bug me about the browser is the loading speed (which is getter better with os releases) and the fact it doesn't align text in page view. I hate having to scroll side to side to have to read text. And column view on html sites is just awful. That's why I use Bolt browser.

this is one thing I am really excited about. I can honestly say one of the weaker parts of the "blackberry experience" is the native browser. I think the 3rd party browsers are better and hopefully, with the edition of Torch, RIM can change that around. I look forward to seeing the next version of the Blackberry Browser :-)
