Thread: RIMs new patent ideas

RIM has been patenting some new, yet, odd factors for their phones. It kind of looks like Blackberry's version of a sidekick. Either way, I don't like it. Blackberry has always had the professional, business look to their phones. If they produce something that looks like these phones then I don't know what RIM is thinking.

I think that design come with moveable screen that can swing to the left, right, or in the middle

I am sure it appeal to some and not to others. Me personally I wouldn't buy it. But like the saying goes "you never know till you try"

i sure wouldn't be buying it!

I see too many moving parts leading to failures and repairs down the road, not to mention they are pretty ugly.

I sure as hell hoped that this stay as a concept and they don't try to build this phone. That looks like a hot mess.:no:

They should patent the good stuff!!! I think other manufacturers already have those "horrid monsters"

There are some real cool and interesting looking form factor ideas. I think that these ideas can be used along side of what RIM is traditionally known for doing. One thing that is for sure, is that we will not have any idea of how great these factors could be until they are actually implemented.
