my bbm 4.7 on my tour is working again.
well i know for a fact that i was sending messages to someone who had the old bbm and they wouldn't show up........hers would show up to me though.......then she called me and yelled at me for not answering......screen shot of my phone saved my ass....she is so mean
i told her that it wasn't that serious but apparently women take certain things more serious than guys....like calling back or answering texts.....i look at it like this if the conversation is going to take more than 10 messages from each one of us just call and get it over in 20 seconds
Ok seems like mine is back and fully working! In Ohio so everyone knows it seems like areas are coming back to working.
Mine seems to be working this morning but there was about a 2 minute delay. I am in East Tennessee.
Blackberry Messenger Service seems to be up for the Middle Tennessee area as well.
VZW is my carrier.
I am in fact receiving the delivery and received indicators as well upon sending all messages, unless the receiving party is busy with their device.
Here's something for a change...
I am in Indonesia and have been using the BBM fine during the last 10 hours (8am to 6pm my time). Using Bold's original BBM 4.6 at the moment. Makes me wonder if it was the hordes of people trying the new BBM 5.0 that crashed the servers, especially since the avatar/picture feature has finally beginning to roll out...
My BBM 5.0 was working from yesterday morning till about 2:00PM. I downgraded back to 4.7 on my storm and it still had a few kinks in it. I had to re-add one of my contacts and even though she accepted, she as still in the pending and unauthorized groups. Anyways, its back up and running fine now.
Weird thing is my wife has the BOLD and she hasn't experienced any slow-downs at all. We're in New Jersey.
Thanks,
Scott
Hi Guys...
Here in Italy all is ok. I've tried bbm5 on my Bold 9000 and on my Storm 9500. But only for my Bold (that is only one to have an account gmail) was arrived an email from Rim server domain.....a very strange mail....

I noticed a significant increase in the consumption of the battery and memory: turning off the satellite tracking can reduce this consumption. However, it may also be due to the very poor Italian Network...
I hope to be helpful. Congratulations for your work, you're the best!

I have heard from many people getting these emails. Just delete them immediately. Usually they pop up with OS changes as well and apparently related to anyone who uses BBM 5.0. Hope this helps :)Quote:
