I would like to welcome you all back to "Stief's Weekly Notes". We here at BlackberryOS have seen quite ALOT this week. The new BBM has leaked and it is completely AMAZING!!! Just wow with all the options and how sweet it looks. If you have not picked this up, make sure you do and quick! You do not want to miss anything! The Verizon Tour was released Saturday (love it or hate it) it has made quite the stir in the smartphone world. Yes that's right, figures estimated to 275,000-300,000 Tour units sold! WOW! Have you been checking out our latest in applications here? Well in case you have not and own a Tour, make sure to stop by our applications that are compatiable with the device (still adding more)! Also regarding the Tour, make sure to check out the downloads for the OS and Desktop Manager to get you rolling smoothly. Also check out the deconstruction of a BlackBerry Tour! Now on to other devices. We have seen a review on the 8520 Curve show up and it looks nice, the optical trackpad really looks great on that phone. Also Wal-Mart looks like they have exclusive selling rights on the 8520 Curve until October of this year. Weird huh? This week we have also seen pictures of "tabbed browsing" in the native BlackBerry Browser, can't wait for that to drop. Wow this is just SOOO much to cover! We have seen the release of Google Voice, Slacker being pushed to the Storm from Verizon Wireless, and 7Digital planning on releasing their software come September!
