Corect me if I'm wrong purchase price off contract about 800 bucks . Why would you not use Gorilla Glass at that price? Has anyone seen this?

Hi Walter66, yes seen video, who would treat a phone like that?, all glass will break if treated that way, even Gorilla glass, its only resists damage, and you are paying for brand name, i keep my phones in strong cases,so far never broken one yet after dropping by mistake. Z10 would cost more with Gorilla glass, money better spent on best internal components.
I'd say that the Z10 fared quite will in the drop test by Mashable. It wasn't until the phone got to concrete that it finally broke the screen.

yes Joe, i agree it did well, but its still a shame that a Z10 had to be damaged to show the obvious outcome, it could have gone to a caring owner,
any news when US members will get Z10 ?.
Yea, it's gut wrenching to see a good Z10 go to waste.
U.S. Carrier dates are all still rumored. We are assuming that for sure all of them will launch this month sometime. AT&T has been rumored to launch somewhere between the 15th - 22nd.
