Discuss: Former RIM CO-CEO's Take Home Some Big Cash
Former RIM CEO's Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie, are set to receive a nice severance packaged after resigning earlier this year. According to a company filing with the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission both men will receive $7.93 million and $7.93 million each. Not bad for taking one for the team. RIM's current CEO Thorsten Heins already brought home a whopping $10.2 million in the fiscal year 2012, and more than $9.5 million in stocks. It looks like someone is doing pretty well as the new guy in charge. Although Jim and Mike both stepped down, they did leave quite the legacy at RIM.
