Thread: A Closer Look To The New Limited Edition Titanium Porsche Design BlackBerry P'9981

If you want to be a part of the BlackBerry Elite group, then you must have this limited edition titanium Porsche Design BlackBerry P’9981. When this smartphone was launched a couple of months ago, some were amazed with its great physical appearance and top of the line performance like the Bold 9900. However, another brilliant idea came out and created this superb smartphone having a titanium body that is said to be the most expensive BlackBerry device ever created by RIM.

The titanium body gives the device a shinier look as compared to the matte metal finish of the standard one. The QWERTY keyboard is now made of plastic and not metal anymore that gives a darker look to the front of the device. In addition to that, it has a carbon fibre back cover that for me will somehow affect the performance of the device in getting radio signals. No other features added on the device aside from its titanium body.

Apparently, this smartphone will not be publicly for sale to everyone as it will be auctioned and the proceeds will be given to charity. Sounds great right? If you have what it takes to bid thousand of dollars for this phone then do so. Not only you will be able to feel it with your hands but also it will be a very big help to charity.

Yeah! Totally cool device but I would rather stay with my Bold 9900 than to spend like $8k to have that

I think most of us are very likely thinking the exact same thing...it is one beautiful BlackBerry device, if money wasn't an issue, I would buy one!!

As much as I love RM, if I'm going to spend $8000 on a phone its gonna be a Vertu or the Meridiist but this is a close third.
