Jim Balsillie And Others Resign from RIM Board of Directors

Research In Motion’s former Co-CEO, Jim Balsillie, has stepped down as a Director on the RIM’s Board. He issued the following statement upon the resignation: “As I complete my retirement from RIM, I’m grateful for this remarkable experience and for the opportunity to have worked with outstanding professionals who helped turn a Canadian idea into a global success.”

David Yach has also announced his retirement from the role as CTO, Software. Jim Rowan, COO, Global Operations, has also stepped down from his position. Research In Motion will now have a great chance to inject new blood into the company and hopefully bring positivity to the forefront.

I've said for awhile now they need some new "younger thinking" people there. Someone with some "out of the box" thinking. Hopefully. This will be begin soon.

Too many eggs in one basket. What comes after BB 10 and what after that? You have to stay ahead of the game or you perish.
