We have heard some rumors about this cool accessory few times, now is finally being released by RIM, available at ShopBlackBerry.com for $99.00.

This accessory acts as a waypoint between your device and your car stereo system, it communicates with your device via Bluetooth, and then redirect the audio to your car's speakers via FM transmission, which means a better music and call experience while on the go.

A single button give you the option to make, and end calls, and if you take a deep user guide read you will learn to redial, mute and ignore calls with the same button.

It supports voice activated dialing, caller ID, and verbal notifications to let you know who's calling, you can stay in touch while keeping your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.

The visor mount is compatible with almost all BlackBerry devices, from the 7130 series on up to the Storm 9530, according to RIM, so it's available to most BlackBerry users.

I think i should get this, just the BT for my CD player alone is $160 :(

I wonder if the clarity is as good as they say. I've used FM modulators before and they all suck. I get stations breaking through all the time.

For $99 it better sound really good! lol

You would think but I've seen $150 FM transmitters not do their job very well.
