New York Times Suggest RIM Takeover Talks Brewing
A recent article from the NY times suggest that RIM take over talks are starting to make headway once again. With the recent acquisition of Motorola Mobile by Google, talk are starting up again about the future of RIM. Stocks even went up slightly moving on the speculation of a sale. Companies like Microsoft and ZTE a major Chinese handset maker are in the mix of potential buyer.
One thing that would make a take over a little difficult would be Jim Balsillie and Mike Lazaridis RIM's co-chief executives reluctance to give up control. Its seems as though these two guys are in the mix of most of the issues that RIMS has. Could they be the reason that BlackBerry appears to be stuck in reverse?
