Look at the OS7 devices, 720p HD video playback and record look pretty pretty good on a bloated and outdated OS that has a fresh coat of paint on it, and those are single core devices. With QNX you would not need any of that legacy bloat in the OS to slow it down, but it will need to pack more memory than the current devices.

I'm talking more specifically about video streaming such as video chat with Skype, ect. To have it be super quality while being smooth may bog down a single core.

As far as OS 7 compared to OS 6 devices, it's night and day for sure. I'm exited to see what a QNX OS 8 will bring.

I'm with you on this Joe. I believe it will need the dual core to be successful with streaming video and Skype type apps. With a single core, it will be ugly to try a Skype chat.
