The thought of what BlackBerry OS 8 will be bringing to future devices and customer experience has many current users extremely excited. While most of us are cautiously optimistic about not getting too excited, others have begun to experiment on what RIM could potentially bring us. Well a 16 year old tech-savvy BlackBerry user has decided to make a concept design on what he thinks BlackBerry 8 should look like. This concept design has been carefully done and is definitely awesome. Even though I didn't love everything about it (the giant clock just screams Android to me), I hope RIM takes a look at this video and at least tries to incorporate some of it in a way.
I can only imagine how difficult it must be to try to incorporate new ideas into an OS design while still maintaining the familiarity of older OSes. The balance of what to keep, what to change and what to completely get rid of when updating a program, OS, phones; etc is something that has always intrigued me and hopefully RIM will take full advantage of all ideas that are out there.
What do you think of the concept? Let us know!
