Thread: HISTORICAL MOMENT IN THE USA!!4.7.0.148 Officially Released by Verizon for 9530 Users

Unbelievable!! This year is full of historical moments! First Obama becomes President of the United States and now Verizon finally releases an official OS upgrade. Is this a dream? Are we really seeing this? 4.7.0.148 is now available from Verizon. Users can upgrade to this through their DM, some others like myself have upgraded OTA but seems only few people have been able to do that right now.

For the people who don't know, the official .148 is the exact same thing as the leaked .148. Only difference is Verizon finally got their thumbs out of their 'arse' and approved an OS.

Make sure to remember this day so you can tell your own children or grand children about the day Verizon released an official OS. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to go watch the Verizon Release Day parade and try to get some cracker jacks.

I just got the email about 20 min ago. These releases are so lack luster when you've been running the OS for a while now.

Now that there is an official release, tomorrow we will start bitching because we dont have any leaked beta's.

Well I'm not updating cause my hybrid 148 is all I need. Hopefully there will be a hybrid seven.. But on a good note 148 is the best and I'm finally glad they released it. So now all of our replacements should have 148. Vzw might be slow on releases and stuff but there customer service and network is great. Thanks bbos for the early update on releases. Untill next release. Hopefully it will be 5.0

At least now you can take your device in and not worry about having the wrong OS installed...at least until another leak comes out and it starts all over again. Or until v7 comes out...

Well I am installing now and let see how the blasted radio on the GSM side works as I am on T-Mobile.
