Thread: Verizon CMO Confirms 3 BlackBerry's will Launch in 2011

BGR was very lucky to sit down and interview Verizon Wireless’ Chief Marketing Officer Marni Walden and discuss a couple different topics. Some of these topics were about LTE, iPhone, Android and BlackBerry. Where was not many BlackBerry questions asked, but the following information gain should excite many Verizon customers.

I do. RIM is still very, very important in the enterprise space. It does resonate in some of the consumer space as well, particularly with BBM. We’ll have three devices this year that we will bring to market with RIM.

This is very good news for Verizon customers. What products do you think she is hinting at? 9900? The Storm 3 or Torch Touch (whatever they may call it)? We will have to wait and see.

Nice to hear a confirmation. Does the Bold 9900 already count as one of the three?

No the 9900 only counts if AT&T gets it!!!!!!

What about my BlackBerry Curve 12038? When will that be released?

I would like to see the S3 as I am getting tired of waiting to hear any positive word or date on it's release and hope it will be soooon like next month in time to support the 4G Playbook!!!!!

We are already know that they are not getting the Torch 2 (9810) but they may get the torch touch which is 9850 or something.
