    BlackBerry Bold 9900 Coming "Super Soon" To Virgin Mobile Canada


    If Virgin Mobile Canada is your current carrier, or you're thinking of possibly switching to them in the near future, you'll be happy to know that they confirmed on twitter today that they will have the BlackBerry Bold 9900 "Super Soon".

    With many sources claiming that the device is delayed until September, I'd argue that "Super Soon" isn't 3 months!

    At least there is still a hope that you guys will be getting the phone "soon", whatever that might mean.

    If the phone doesn't come to South Africa soon i might have to consider Apple again, or even HTC

    I wonder if it was just a mis-statement from their support. Don't know why they would say something like this as usually they'll just differ you to their update newsletter.

    "soon" is a phenomenally convenient term for a provider to use, because it has a myriad of definition, none of which demonstrate any form of certainty or specificity (ref. Merriam Webster, or your preferred dictionary). In all technicality, September is "soon" compared to, say, second quarter 2012.

    I'll believe it when I see an official announcement and a consistently confirmed launch date between both the parent company (Virgin Mobile) and the manufacturer (RIM).

    Until then, this is just a silly blunder of a bored employee toying with those who suffer from Crackberry addiction hehe =)

    Exactly. Twitter, to me, is a world of mistakes and subsequent corrections. VMCa. will probably just pretend their staff never wrote this, and never talk about it again.
