Thread: RIM Rumored To Be Working with YOU i Labs

It's being rumored that RIM is working with You i Labs to develop a new UI for their devices. This Ottawa-based design firm is known for creating Sense-like user interfaces for several different platforms.

You I Labs have worked closely with Teknision (Designer of Playbook UI) recently, & there is chatter that Teknision might be acquired by You I Labs.

With RIM's recent acquisition of The Astonishing Tribe, & this possible partnership with You i Labs, is there a totally revamped UI on the horizon for OS 8?

Interesting, the UI of the BB OS hasn't been revamped in ages. Even with OS 6, IMHO, it is not a revamp, just some minor changes.
