Could this be it? The Blackberry Storm MR2 from Verizon: 4.7.0.148 on May 31st???

Could this finally be true???? Storm owners are exhausted waiting for an official OS from VZW. MR1 or the first official was released back in December, shortly after the Blackberry Storm (9530) launched! Rumors have it, that 4.7.0.148 OS has been in VZW testing for quite a while and so far has received the most positive feedback out of all leaked/beta OS. Let's keep our fingers crossed because May 31st is just around the corner, and that's when VZW may push the update to customers....Are we in for a surprise of seeing 9530AMEA_PBr4.7.0_rel203_PL4.0.0.181_A4.7.0.148_Ve rizon.exe file name OFFICIAL soon? :arms:

If you haven't tried 4.7.0.148, it has been leaked and can be downloaded here:
    Leaked 4.7.0.148 for 9530

As always, it's still a leaked/beta OS at this point, so download at your own risk. Also, please visit our Help Center forums for assistance/questions that you may need/have. Enjoy!!!

Props to Bla1ze over at CB for sharing this info.

This is great for all the Storm users who don't know about the leaks. Personally I'm sticking with BBC v6. But this should help some of the bad publicity the Storm gets.

It's just the package number. It's the same 148 that was leaked

Yup...except for those (wonder how many it might be?) who get in their car Monday after delighting in their new OS only to find out their BT no longer works properly! I can see it now....half of them will think their phone is to blame and start flooding VZW with phone calls (not from their BT enabled Storm). The remainder will be flooding their car dealerships complaining that the BT module in their brand new car has died...and those dealers will be replacing them only to find out it was actually the phone! At least the Storm never fails to provide entertainment!

What is the issue with BT? I have had absolutely no problem with either my Plantronics BT headset, nor the Parrot unit installed in my van. I'm using straight .148.

It seems that a good percentage of those running any SFI file in the 140's is experiencing a significant reduction in volume while using the bluetooth. I have two Storm and three BT's, and when paired to the Storm using the SFI file from either .141 or .148 even with volume cranked up to 100% can barely hear what the person on the other side is saying.
