RIM is really reaching out to the China market this year. Not too long ago we reported RIM's deal with China Telecom to distribute the Bold 9650 device and offer BIS for small business customers. Today, RIM has reached another agreement with China based company, Telling Telecom. Commenting on the agreement, Mr. Yang Siqing, Chief Operation Officer of Telling Telecom, said:

Shenzhen & Beijing, China - Telling Telecom (Stock Code: 000829. SZ) and Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM) today announced a distribution agreement for BlackBerry® smartphones in China.


Telling Telecom will assist RIM to expand the national reach of BlackBerry smartphones through its strong knowledge and experience in the marketplace and its comprehensive relationships with local partners.
